Harbaugh

Harbaugh

In the town that spawned the NFL’s most noted football family, the Mannings, a new family will face off on the NFL’s biggest stage. John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens will look to give Ray Lewis the ultimate send-off similar to greats like Michael Strahan and Jerome Bettis, with a Super Bowl title.

On the other sideline, a little brother will look to upstage his biologically-connected rival as Jim Harbaugh will look to re-establish the legacy of the San Francisco 49ers.

I have waited 18 years for this moment and now that it is here it still hasn’t set in. This is also the first time as a Niners fan that I couldn’t guarantee that the Niners wouldn’t walk in and destroy the other team. I’ve avoided much of the coverage this week as it’s just way too much. How many times can you actually break down the same game?

Sunday is the day. One of these teams will walk away with their franchise’s first Super Bowl defeat. Either way, it’s expected to be a great game with more sub-plots than you probably care to know. While I will refrain from giving a prediction, it’s no secret who I will be rooting for. If you don’t know who I’m rooting for, regardless of the outcome you will know for certain on Monday.

    Really?

Did you honestly just say, “How many times can you break down the same game?”

Isn’t that what you and this page are all about?

Congrats on the journey this year!

    GO NINERS!
