It’s always sad when a young person in the prime of their life is taken away so soon. It’s even more sad when the person feels they have no other solutions and takes their own.

In case you had not heard, Kansas City Chiefs LB Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend early Saturday before driving to the team headquarters and taking his own life, which was witnessed by Head Coach Romeo Crennel and GM Scott Pioli. Click here for the full story.

The story is still developing and as of now it appears this chain of events came completely out of left field. For now, I ask you to send your prayers to the families of these two individuals as well as their 3-month old child who is now left without parents.
