Postgame Rants and the Men Who Give Them
It’s been 10 years since former Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson made his infamous “Practice” speech. Iverson gave comments regarding reports that he consistently missed or showed up late to practices. Now it didn’t help that this came after the 76ers were lit up by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2002 playoffs. After forcing a deciding Game 5 in the opening round, the 76ers were blasted in the 4th quarter on their way to losing by 37.
After hearing about the anniversary on ESPN, it made me think about some of my favorite postgame rants. Here’s a few of my personal favorites:
Allen Iverson talks about “Practice”
Former Indianapolis Colts coach Jim Mora talks about “Playoffs”
Mike Greenberg is an angry fan
Former Arizona Cardinals coach Dennis Green “lets them off the hook”
OSU coach Mike Gundy is 40 (Amateur Coors Light version)
Derek Anderson is NOT laughing!

Mike Gundy gets my vote. But cant forget Mike Leach and the “Fat Little Girlfriends”.
HILARIOUS! College coaches give some of the best soundbytes.
